Drama series, 2 episodes of 45 min
Guest: Leander Verdievel
Moderation: Vivienne Kuster
Medical student and womanizer Tristan is living life in the fast lane. His future as a neurosurgeon seems within his grasp, but then fate strikes: Tristan is diagnosed with a tumour. He is in shock, as are his family and friends, who react with dismay to the catastrophic diagnosis. There is no time to think, his hematologist wants to start radiotherapy immediately, followed by chemotherapy. As a patient, Tristan gets to know a completely different side of everyday hospital life and tries to continue his usual routine between treatments and internships at the clinic. Over time, however, he has to accept that his body will not accept the radiotherapy without complaint and that he will have to live with the consequences – professionally and privately.
